Trials
Specialist personnel at Lichfield Technologies have developed and supported Sea Acceptance Trials for the UK MoD/Royal Navy and others at:
- British Underwater Test and Evaluation Centre (BUTEC Scotland)
- Atlantic Underwater Test and Evaluation Centre (AUTEC Bahamas)
- NATO FORACS Norway, and open ocean.
Providing hardware/software, and/or technical assistance for:
- Sonar: 2019, 2020, 2046, 2058, 2066, 2050, 2082 and Radar 1007
- (Surface ship sonar, submarine sonar systems, torpedo detection trials and Radar/Sonar Vectac alignment trials)
Our recognised experience of sonar and acoustic trial techniques, methodology and technology can be offered as additional customer support for equipment acceptance.
Other trial scenarios can encompass:
Performance modelling, feasibility proving, testing of new and existing equipment, and Operator or Command Team Training.
We can provide complete support for customer’s trial programmes:
Trial design, planning, logistics support, trials direction, data gathering and post trial data analysis and reporting.
